Tesco Nurture Certification

The Tesco Nurture Protocol is an independent certification launched by the international retail chain TESCO in 1992. The main objective of this certification is to guarantee consumers that fruits and vegetables from TESCO suppliers are grown in an environmentally responsible way. To this end, the certification is based on the implementation of more restrictive requirements than those established by the legislation regarding the use and the maximum limits for pesticides residues in fresh products. With this certification, Interfruit adds to its objectives the construction of trust of the consumers about the safety of the food marketed and environmental standards of production, in addition to its consolidation as a company that seeks a high level of requirement that exceeds the legal requirements in its activities.
